Juniper Golf Course is one of many fantastic courses you will find in Central Oregon. Located in beautiful Redmond, just fifteen minutes north of Bend, its most recent iteration debuted in 2005 after relocating from land several miles north of the original site. Upon opening, the facility was immediately recognized as one of “America’s Best New Courses” by Golf Digest in 2006, with much fanfare and support from the local and regional community.
Designed by John Harbottle, the course plays to a maximum distance of 7,200 yards from tips (par 72), and carries a course rating of 74.0. Though total distance, multiple tee options, and impressive rating make Juniper a comparable test to many of its high desert neighbors, many feel the design features offered by the course and its varied layout rank it amongst the more challenging in the area. The minimalist approach implemented in the construction, maintaining much of the natural and native beauty, lava and rock outcroppings can play a prominent role in recovery from wayward drives. Its consistently maintained, and generously portioned fairways and putting surfaces make for a fair test of golf. And, as is consistent with much of the links experiences available in Central Oregon, stunning views of the neighboring Cascade peaks (Mt. Bachelor, Broken Top, Sisters, and Mt. Washington) can be enjoyed throughout the round.

The facility’s casual dining experience, The View Tap & Grill, complements a great day of golf with seven-days-a-week service, offering daily specials and indoor/outdoor seating, depending on the time of year. Weddings of 60 or less will enjoy the use of a private banquet room with the adjoining outdoor patio. For weddings of 60 or more Juniper will close the restaurant to the public and allow you use of the entire facility, creating a great atmosphere for your celebration. Juniper’s room rental package allows you to keep within your budget as it includes set up and clean up of the banquet facility, stock colored linens, glassware, flatware, tables and chairs, use of the wireless Internet, and a podium with microphone. You also receive a beverage station for your guests with unlimited coffee and iced tea during your event.
Juniper offers two outstanding outdoor ceremony locations to choose from: the 2,000 square foot patio that overlooks the golf course and has full panoramic views of the mountains as well as the 4000 square foot chipping green that offers soft green grass amidst the rolling hills of the award winning golf course and views of the Cascades.
