The Golf Course at Birch Creek is owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR). Located seven miles south of Pendleton on Highway 395, the course features 18 holes and practice facilities, as well as a clubhouse with a full bar and restaurant, and spacious banquet rooms. Formally known as Pendleton Country Club, the Golf Course at Birch Creek is now open for public play under the new ownership of the CTUIR.
The par 72 course is nestled on a 248-acre oasis that is divided by the meandering Birch Creek. The creek, wooden bridges, mature trees, and the rural setting can bring to the forefront the lands importance to the Tribe. Its location is near the documented site of a historic Cayuse Indian encampment.
Guests enjoy great playing conditions on this beautiful 248 acre golf facility, especially appreciating the greens that average a speed of 10-11 on the stimp meter. The golf course is fun and playable, yet still challenging to golfers of all abilities.
The Golf Course at Birch Creek beats the rest by offering competitive pricing, two practice putting greens, a full-length driving range, and a short game area. The full service pro shop features a variety of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories, plus club fitting and demo days.
If it’s an after-work cocktail, an afternoon luncheon with a client, or a weekend with the family, the Golf Course at Birch Creek has just what you want. The bar and dining room overlook the beautiful Birch Creek Valley and course. The staff is friendly and helpful and the clubhouse offers monthly events that allow you and your family some fun time together.
The Golf Course at Birch Creek offers members and guests a variety of options for golfers to work on improving their games.
